Primitive Cupboard...filled with yuletide treasures & wrapped with pine.

Nice fireplace...colonial. I have not seen one of these settings in a long time. Wow. This is just like one of our living rooms in a custom built New England Salt box 40 years ago. Ceiling beams, fireplace, furniture and all. I really miss my mother's talent for antiques and housing design.

I just love this photo, so homey. I can smell fresh bread and homemade soup bubbling away on the cook top.

I would like to make this into a hamper holder so you can hide the dirty clothes, but still be able to lift and carry a basket vs a big chunky box.

rounded edge mirror on mantel...I saw one at a local Salvation Army and now I hope it will be there when I go back, of course it will need to be detached from it's posts to attach to a dresser, but that's alright...I have a screwdriver:-)

Thats like the exposed brick we have.. Great ideas to work with!! And that is exactly how our our floor is.. I love the nails they used back then..i found a jar of a few of them in the garage the previous owners saved from one of the remodeIs and i keep them on display in a pewter sugar bowl on top of the fire place in the log room.. Great conversation piece!!

Truly one of the only things I miss from living in my log home. The fireplace, hot tub, greenhouse/garden, and soaking tub.

All the bowls!! Also I new one more candle so I can put them on place mats for the table!!
