Tejo Mahalay - The ancient Hindu Temple Palace which was taken from the Hindu Maharaja (King) of Jaipur, during the Mughal Invasion of India. The ex-Maharaja of Jaipur family still retains the collection two orders from Shah Jahan for surrendering the Hindu Temple Palace. Using captured Hindu temples and mansions, as a burial place for dead courtiers and royalty was a common practice among Muslim invaders in India
2. The river of the village was named Nyamarra. It had different spots for men and women to bathe. The women had to bathe in the shallow waters, whereas men could bathe in deeper waters. This detail represents a part of the sexism that existed.
