How to revive dried out markers. Place marker in a bowl with hot water. Then place marker on a towel to dry for a day with the cap off. Then put cap on marker and let it dry for another day. They should now work again. Too bad I threw out about 20 markers last week. How to Fix a Dried Out Sharpie..most of the time, according to this website, it is the nib that is dried out, not the ink! Soak in alcohol...worth a try!
My daughter and I made something very similiar to this for a year end gift for her preschool teacher. Except instead of white flowers on dry erase markers - I used glittered, foam flower stickers on pencils and markers. I should have taken a picture. I set the flower pens into a glass vase that was filled with glass stones.
