Draw a bird's wing, brake it down into four levels of feathers, and make cardboard templates for tracing onto the foam. The craft foam is very easy to work with, and take colour from pencil crayons and paint beautifully. cut a strip of felt with scalloping shears to cover the top edges of the foam, then totally smeared the felt with sparkle paint so it wouldn't get fuzzy or fray.

Never buy another expensive craft cone again!! Cyndy created a template for 5 sizes of craft cones that are used to make sturdy cones out of rolled poster board. These cones are just as durable as the paper mache (because they are rolled twice). Template can be used to make fabric covered tree cones for Christmas.
