framed glass that is painted on the back - as a prettier alternative to a white board in the kitchen. good for leaving notes or making grocery lists. Seems cleaner than the chalkboard idea

Use glass as a unique message board, what a great idea! Get a large frame at Ikea and then a piece of trim or something similar to make the tray for the dry erase pens. "Choose Happiness"

Excellent idea! Framed glass that is painted on the back to create a dry erase board. Alternatively, could use fabric on the back instead of paint.... either way, this is a pretty alternative to a white board in the kitchen--- great for leaving notes or making grocery lists.

This gives me an idea to reuse hundreds of scrap paper left in the classroom. Kids can draw and write on it. Or, for any reminders or notes kids should know. I can't wait to do this in August.

this is a piece of scrap wood soaked in a tea bath to get an older vintage look. ..two old rulers, screwed to the top and the bottom. they hold the paper in place but the bottom one also serves to tear a clean line. iron towel rack added the iron bar to the top. the paper roll is from lowes. its the paper in the paint isle.
