Magnetic paint for kid's art gallery (bhg.com)--LOVE the idea of using kids' art as the main decoration for the living room!

Add a gallery installation to your living room using nothing more than magnetic paint and wood trim. Section off a wall portion and paint it with the magnetic paint; then top with a coat of paint in the color of your choice. (We chose a hue slightly darker than the rest of the wall.) Let kids or adults hang their latest creations/favorite pics or inspirations from the wall with fun magnets. Incorporate a few framed pieces to make the space look cohesive.- playroom maybe?

I love this idea for a kids room. First section off the part of the wall you want to designate to the "art wall" and put a wood trim around it. Then paint the sectioned off section with magnetic paint. Top it off with a paint color of your choice, then start your picture hanging!

A single piece of art can be the solution for an entire blank wall -- if it's a dramatic size, like this floor-to-ceiling printed canvas, stretched around a frame. To make your own oversized art, stretch fabric around a canvas frame, available at art or crafts stores.
