Copy-Cat Panera Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup (in a crockpot) My version: Step 3: Cook chicken just enough to brown the outside. Combine chicken, broth, & rice in the crockpot. Follow Step 4-6 and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours. Stir before serving & enjoy! If the consistency is too thick, just add more chicken broth.
