    From DEB THOMAS - FREE This math unit is used for "Greater Than and Less Than" centers. I use the "Math Daily 5" in my classroom and I use games like this for "Math by Myself" and "Math with Someone". The instructions on how to play are included as well as a reproducible student page for the game. This product is "Teacher Created" and "Kid Approved"!!!

    I like this idea a lot for my Ss to practice number sense, but is greater/less than a concept they can understand or need to know? "The Lesson Plan Diva: FREE Dice Games Greater Than or Less Than"

    NOT. As an upper grade teacher speaking, the kids never understand the concept of greater than and less than when they arrive in my class. Moreover, they forget whether the alligator is going one way or another. Seems like it would make more sense to teach the vocabulary to the symbol without an animal.
