Part of me really would like some chickens. A couple of little bantams with feathery feet and fresh eggs. And *if* that time ever comes, maybe I could find someone to build a cute coop to go with it? :)
Found it at Wayfair - Cape Cod Chicken Coop with Chicken Run, Nesting Box & Roosting Barhttp://www.wayfair.com/daily-sales/p/Create-the-Ultimate-Hen-House-Cape-Cod-Chicken-Coop-with-Chicken-Run%2C-Nesting-Box-%26-Roosting-Bar~PNP1196~E14012.html?refid=SBP.rBAZEVRRfRZufGa6Uwm_AgcbjEUAfUmQlSYA_JgVRMs
I love my beautiful chicken coop! DIY Plans are available online. I have had my coop for several years and the clean up is so easy! Plus I have never lost a chicken to a predator in this coop. I love looking at it from my kitchen window! Mine is the "Daisy" chicken coop.
Adorable Chicken House! We had chickens growing up, but their house was not nearly this nice. Chickens let loose in a garden is a natural way to keep insects and pests at bay because they eat them and chicken poo is high in nitrogen so it's a great fertilizer for the soil.
