Play At Home Mom LLC: SENSORY BALLOONS- sensory play idea-- fill balloons with various materials (lentils, couscous, hair gel, water, flour, ooblek, gak, etc.). have two balloons of each material. allow child to feel, explore, and describe each balloon for its contents. see if they can find the match for each balloon (you found one water filled balloon, can you find the other that feels like it has water in it?). have them sort the balloons by how they feel--- soft, squishy, crunch, etc.

sensory balloons -- fill balloons with different materials to squeeze (hair gel, beads, sand, etc)
