Baby shower punch - We did this at a baby shower for a friend and everyone loved it. I don't know if it will work for ours since we're thinking hot chocolate bar (and people might get confused by the blue since she's having a girl but it's supposed to look like a bathtub with blue water, get it?!) but I wanted to throw it out there as an idea! BABY SHOWER PUNCH 1 packet blue, unsweetened Kool-Aid (or blue fruit punch drink, but then don't add the sugar) 1 (2 liter) bottle Ginger Ale 1 (64 oz) bottle White Grape Juice 1 cup sugar (omit if using fruit punch) 8 scoops pineapple sherbet 2-3 Rubber Duckies (make sure they float - bathtub toys) maraschino cherries (optional for garnish) orange slices (optional for garnish)
Ducky Bath Baby Shower Punch Recipe... I made this for my sons first birthday party and my only complaint is that it did not turn blue- more like an algae green. Also, I really don't know what it tastes like due to the fact that my husband spiked mine with loopy vodka- which was extremely delicious and I highly recommend trying it that way!
Rock-A-Bye Baby Punch Recipe - 3 quarts raspberry sherbet, softened 6 liters ginger ale, chilled. Just before serving, place sherbet in punch bowl. Add ginger ale; stir until sherbet is almost melted. Yield: about 2 gallons (about 64 half-cup servings). (I suppose you could use any flavor/color sherbet to change colors.)
