Cinnamon apple baked oats - 8 portions for a whole breakfast. put in large muffin cups and take to go. 2 cups steel-cut oats 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 2 cups diced apples (I used Granny Smith) 3 eggs 2 cups fat-free milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 3 Tbsp Splenda brown sugar blend (or 1/3 cup light brown sugar) 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
If you’ve never done this before, you are seriously missing out. Grapefruit is good but broiled grapefruit is GOOOD. The sugars caramelize and the flesh gets a little warm and gooey and it’s a sweet, tangy, brûléed masterpiece for your tastebuds. I highly recommend it.
A drizzling of honey, a few shakes of ginger or cinnamon, some slices of banana, and a visit under the broiler were all it took to turn plain grapefruit into something special, this Broiled Grapefruit with Honey and Bananas
Broiled Grapefruit: 1 ripe grapefruit, halved, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and spices. Spread evenly over the top of the halved grapefruits. Place the baking sheet on the top shelf of the oven and broil the grapefruits for 4-6 minutes
Tried this and It's really yummy! Pink grapefruit (we used red), honey, banana & mint. Refreshing and healthy! I don't even like grapefruit, but this was good! :)
