Old Fashioned Banana Cream Pie ~Before Cool Whip and instant pudding, this was how a cream pie was made. If you leave out the bananas, you have vanilla cream pie. If you add 1 cup shredded coconut to milk as it's being heated, you have coconut cream pie.

Southern Banana Pudding Pie: the vanilla wafer crust makes this pie extra special!

These are BRILLIANT! I skip the cream and spread peanut butter and grape jelly between two cookies instead (think Little Debbie PB Oatmeal Pies). They're phenomenal.

yessssss...minus the greek yogurt (not a fan) & replace with regular.

Single serving of Banana Cream Pie. (Photo by Jackie Baisa.) No recipe but could easily use the idea.

Banana Cream Pie - (for recipes that call for the cookie crumbs 7 ounces of Graham crackers or any sweet butter biscuits or cookies would do. But to get closer to the real Tennis biscuits you will need to add 1-2 tbsp per 7 ounces of dessicated, toasted coconut. Mix with rest of ingredients as the recipe calls for.)

Banana Cream Pie - I amped up the vanilla and sugar in the whipped cream and added a layer of peanut butter frosting between the sliced bananas and pudding. Be extremely careful when tempering the eggs. Really good with ripe bananas. I added sugar to my normal pie crust

Banana Cream Pie with Salted Caramel: One word - heaven! I made this for a dinner party and it was gone, wiped clean, almost as soon I put it on the table. I must admit I didn't make the caramel from scratch, per the recipe, but used a good pre-made caramel sauce and added some sea salt. It was utterly delicious and pretty simple to make.
