Kenneth Anger started making movies at age 10, and by age 20 he gained recognition and notoriety for his 1947 homoerotic short film Fireworks. The film—which includes imagery of violent sailors, a lit firecracker sparking out of a man’s pants, Anger himself being doused in a white liquid, & a burning Christmas tree—led to Anger’s arrest and acquittal on obscenity charges. It also led to a lifelong friendship with Alfred Kinsey.

The definitive Bond girl. Jill Masterson, played by actress Shirley Eaton knows these words all too well.... "Golden words he will pour in your ear, But his lies can't disguise what you fear, For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her, It's the kiss of death from Mister Goldfinger. Pretty girl beware of this heart of gold This heart is cold"

Stanley Kubrick: The greatest filmmaker ever lived. The big theme which can be found in most of his films is the duality of man. Both the lightness and the darkness.

Someone has Scorpio Rising if you look at them and they could plausibly be a Vampire. Simple. That is how i picked Julian Assange the other day. I met a Sagittarian martial artist at a party once and he told me that he was Scorpio Rising. He had that vamp look and he said a mystic in Jaipur had told him that being Scorpio Rising meant he could remember ALL of his incarnations

Vivre sa Vie (1962) - directed by Jean-Luc Godard <3. Anna Karina is perfect in this movie - as always - I love her with short hair. By the way, this is one of my fav french cinema posters. Amazing movie. "Lend yourself to others but give yourself to yourself."
Vivre sa vie (1962), Jean-Luc Godard. "One of Godard's most dynamic films, combining brilliant visual design with a tragic character study. The lovely Anna Karina, Godard’s greatest muse, plays Nana, a young Parisian who aspires to be an actress but instead ends up a prostitute, her downward spiral depicted in a series of discrete tableaux of daydreams and dances."

"I had a farm in Africa....." - Meryl Streep, Out of Africa. Brilliant. Yet another of the examples showing Streep's uncanny ability to master accents and vocal mannerisms to enrich her performances
One of my favorite movies...."Out of Africa" - Meryl Streep (as arthor, Karen Blixen) on the veranda of her home, in a classic plantation lounger, next to a bamboo side table, set with cut-crystal decanter, with the Ngong Hills in the background.
