Love the idea, it works! We use a rectangular shape trash can and haven't put wheels on it yet. We may end up adding wheels, but again we may not. Great way of corralling the gift wrap, gift bags, tape and (some) ribbon in one location. Wrapping paper tends to form precarious piles that inevitably topple when you go to grab that lone birthday pattern from the bottom. Storing gift wrap vertically means you can hide it in skinny corner or closet, and a garment bag keeps everything neatly corralled.
Use tension rods to transform a bookcase into the perfect crafts and gift-wrapping station. I am telling you Better Homes & Gardens knows EVERYTHING! What a great idea, especially with the upcoming holidays!
dear lord it's like i've died and gone to heaven. wrapping paper!!! and perfect little storage for it!!
Creating an organization station will help you get each area in your home organized — from kids to crafts, bills to wrapping paper, even fashion.
This is freaking BRILLIANT. I will be going out tomorrow to get an inexpensive garment bag for my wrapping paper in the laundry room closet:)
Using backs of closet doors: more than just hanging shoe-bags! Sherry and John got these little baskets from Target, clipped away some of the wire on the back to make room for screws, and just screwed them right in the door! Also a ribbon tied to two hooks keep those wrapping paper tubes from falling over.
Store your wrapping paper on your closet ceiling!
