Made this for a friend's engagement party..... so delicious! Make sure to have three inch high pans though instead of two (otherwise it will overflow) or make four layers instead of three. Also, allow time for the frosting to soften before frosting. (i always forget that!)

Foret Noire (dark chocolate mousse with kirsch, chantilly cream, and Griotte/Morello cherries). Chocolate and cherries go so well and I'm pretty sure these are Morello cherries, as I've found many other recipes for the Morello/chocolate combo. The smoothness of these layers is inspiring.
