I love this idea for making a keepsake box full of mementos and pictures from a trip, rather than trying to scrapbook everything!

Keep tickets, pictures and other travel memorabilia in crafted Travel Keepsake Boxes

Create a keepsake box to hold notes & letters using an old book. Apply crafts glue to the inside back cover and close the book. When dry, apply glue to the book's edges and let dry. Mark a rectangle on the first page about 1 inch from the sides. Use a craft knife to cut along the mark and through several pages. Remove the cut pages & continue to desired depth. Seal the cut pages with glue.

I LOVE this... might have to make one for my notebook or journal or some other book I use regularly :D

Flower Materials Take a page from the great outdoors with this pretty flower-theme paper garland. Accordion-fold an aged book page. Fold in half and trim the ends into a curve. Repeat with a second page. Using string, tie the two folded pages together at the center, and glue the ends to form a circle.
