The population of the city is 189,284 (2009), and that of the Greater Linz conurbation is 271,000.

Linz, Austria - this is the city square where you can take a tram ride to the right of this statue to the top of a lovely hill called the Poestlingberg, where there i a gorgeous view over Linz and the surrounding countryside (and an impressive chuch).
