Using alcohol inks on non-porous things like metal tins, glossy cardstock, etc. Will have to try it! It looks cool!

A Sharpie and alcohol art project on canvas with incredible results!

a novel way to make your own spray inks!  Paper crafters rejoice!  [how to make your own alcohol inks] Project estimate: Kool-aid, on hand...

so easy, so fun, the results are nearly immediate. alcohol ink dries very quickly on non-porous surfaces. start with a thin layer of the alcohol blending solution, spreading it evenly with a toothbrush. (this diffuses the color, brings out the saturation and extends the drying time.) then squeeze big drops of one color on the tile and watch it do the weirdest stuff ever. Sounds like a lot of fun to do with my "artsy" kids outside on the picnic table.
