There is an envelope laminated for each assignment due. I started with ten. I can just write the activity on the envelope and the kids go there to turn it in. Then they check off their name on the back. So I know exactly who didn't turn it in. It also makes things so much easier to grade!

number of the day #morning work Saw a wonderful teacher do this every morning and it was awesome. She just added the whole class together finger spelling it in the air.

Morning warm-ups: Magazine Monday, Tune Up Tuesday, Word Search Wednesday, Think Outside the Box Thursday, and Fidget With it Friday, how fun!

Could be an icebreaker for the first few days of school, or could be part of a math menu. For 1st or 2nd grade and up I would have them roll two dice and add the numbers together to find out what to tell about themselves. If part of a math menu, the things to tell could change often.

Invention Idea Box (Love this idea!)...great for critical thinking! THIS WOULD BE GREAT IN THE ART ROOM AS A SPARE TIME ACTIVITY
