This 105’ long Grand Valley arch, which crosses Campus Drive at the M-45 entrance, was built in summer of 2001 and is made of copper.


Grand Rapids Community College's welding faculty were able to help out the city of Grand Rapids. As the SkillsUSA competition wrapped up in April 2013, city employees pulled up needing some help with fabricating sandbag frames. Luckily GRCC's experienced welders were on site and willing to help out!

During summer 2013, work is being done in the auditorium and the main hallway leading into the fourth floor of Grand Rapids Community College's Cook Hall.

Education: I want to go to college at GVSU. (Grand Valley State University) My family friend is going to college here and she seems to enjoy it. I've been there before and really liked how it looked. I really want to become a Laker someday.
