Gargoyles at Notre Dame de Paris (French for Our Lady of Paris), also known as Notre Dame Cathedral or simply Notre Dame. It is a Gothic, Roman Catholic cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France. These gargoyles were added by restoration architect E.-E. Viollet-le-Duc, 1845–64.
Le Marais District (The Marsh), Paris, 3rd Arrondissement, directly north of Ile de la Cite where Notre Dame is located. The streets are small so you can walk down them without really encountering traffic. We stayed on Rue De Bretagne next to the Enfant Rouge outdoor market and loved it!
