"Clear the Board" addition game, 2 players. I would use two different colored cubes (5 each player). Kids place their cubes on the sums they predict will come up the most and when dice is rolled if their sum is the answer they get to remove a cube above that #...first one to clear all their cubes wins. (math center)
Hands on coordinate planes. Fun. Students toss two dice, form a coordinate pair and place a marker on that intersection. Students alternate turns, each trying to be the first to get four markers in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
