Music Therapy. Old Man In Nursing Home Reacts To Hearing Music From His Era

  • todays RAGE

In this video, an older gentleman reacts positively after hearing music from his era.

  • Lisa Hudgens

A must watch: "Alive Inside" - An old man in a nursing home is described as being depressed, unresponsive and ‘un-alive’ until he hears music from his era. When his caretaker puts the headphones on him and flips on the iPod, you can see the pure JOY on his face. He starts listening to music around the 2:15 mark of the video. It’s a long video but it’s totally worth it, technology tapping into nostalgia. 4:33 is absolutely the best moment I've ever had on youtube.

Wow, and God is still so much bigger than this. Next time you're having a problem, just think of how big our God is and how He isn't even intimidated by your problem, He just wants to help. ♥ Thanks God.

We are the music makers... and we are the dreamers of the dreams. Amen, Aphex Twin and Willy Wonka. Let me know if you know where this is from, I have no link :(

I couldn't live without music. Everything i do involves music. I cant draw without music. When i'm working on an idea for a design, music keeps me going helps me expand my idea

life’s not a race, take it a little slower; stop and hear the music before the song is over.

Do you hear what I hear? It is never too early to listen to Christmas music...especially when sung by the beautiful voice of Susan Boyle.

maybe it does when I get my favorite song on iTunes and listen to it so many times that I begin to hate it...

Lynyrd Skynyrd "Simple Man" this song always reminds me of my boys : )
