5 lbs Meaty oxtails

Produce

1 cut into thick 4-inch thick pieces 2 stalks celery
2 Bay leaves
8 oz Button mushrooms
2 Carrots
2 tbsp Chives
6 cloves Garlic
1 Onion, large
1 Shallot, small
3 tbsp Thyme, fresh leaves
1 (15-ounce) can Tomatoes, with juice

Canned Goods

2 cups Beef broth
1/4 cup Tomato paste

Condiments

1 tbsp Lemon juice

Pasta & Grains

1 Buttered noodles
1 (12-ounce) package Wide egg noodles

Baking & Spices

1/4 cup All-purpose flour
2 Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Oils & Vinegars

2 tbsp Olive oil
2 tbsp Red wine vinegar

Dairy

4 tbsp Butter, unsalted
2 tbsp Parmesan, grated

Beer, Wine & Liquor

1 (750 ml) bottle Red wine, dry

    Picture of Gina's Oxtail Stew Recipe I made a few changes. Used crock pot on low, 10hours. Did not add mushrooms until last last four hours. Also skipped tomatoes. Added balsamic vinegar, 1/8 cup. Served with rice.
