"There is no one perfect way to be a good mother... Each mother has different challenges, different skills and abilities, and certainly different children... Some may have to work part-or full-time; some may work at home; some may divide their lives into periods of home and family and work. What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply and, in keeping with the devotion she has for God and her husband, prioritizes them above all else." Elder M. Russell Ballard.... Great pick-me-up quote after trying to juggle job & toddler! Thanks Jess!

I love this! We should never judge any mother or comment on the way they parent their children. Every child is different, and every situation is different. I know I'm not perfect but I'm trying! !!!!!!

"Mothers who know do less. They permit less of what will not bear good fruit eternally. They allow less media in their homes, less distraction, less activity that draws their children away from their home. Mothers who know are willing to live on less and consume less of the world’s goods in order to spend more time with their children—more time eating together, more time working together, more time reading together, more time talking, laughing, singing, and exemplifying. These mothers choose carefully and do not try to choose it all. Their goal is to prepare a rising generation of children who will take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world" Do not try to choose it all!

I need to learn this. Challenge and encourage people to strive to be a better person but love them in the process

Inspiring LDS quote by Elder Dallin H. Oaks on defining yourself as a child of God.

Us as women were called to be mothers....I like this and it is true because we're all called on but its only true if you except the calling that heavenly father has given you, if you turn away and only except it when its convenient then you are not meant to be a mother. I love my children and are their for them everyday.
