From Teacher Tipster....I found a use for bubblewrap! I wrote my students' sight words on the flat part of the bubblewrap and when they read the word correctly, they got to pop the bubble! I teach special needs kids so this activity had a dual purpose. It was sight word recognition and an occupational therapy/finger strengthening activity. They LOVED it! You could do letter recognition, number recognition, math facts, etc.

i wonder!

A chore chart that doesn't have any pieces to lose, and I don't have to track anything!

smart way to use them...bottle top sentences

Science - Open up the pumpkin, add a little soil and water, and watch the seeds (which are already inside the pumpkin) grow. // FUN - need to remember this for next year!

Cut up pipe-cleaners and place them in a bottle. Use a magnet to manipulate them. kids will stay busy for hours.

Cut open glow sticks & pour them into bubble solution. Glow in the dark bubbles. Summer nights here we come!...(except isn't the glow solution toxic?)

Microwave bar soap

Love this idea! Toys that are not picked up go in the ransom box and they have to pick a chore to complete to earn it back! Maybe a version for the classroom?

The very hairy caterpillar - Earth Day

Earth Day craft

Earth Day idea.

Shamrock Stamping - Such a cute idea!!!

"Quiet Spray"! It is an old spray bottle (completely cleaned and dried out!). There is nothing in the bottle but it does make a little "squirt" sound when you pull the spray trigger. Everyone will get a squirt of "Quiet Spray" as we walk down the hallway.

Math Tray

Add peroxide and baking soda to moutain dew to make it glow.

ice eggs - Freeze balloons filled with water and small toys. Cut balloon off and play with eggs outside. Provide spoons for cracking ice and digging treasures out.
