The Farnborough International Airshow 2012 in Hampshire

The Red Arrows fly in formation alongside an Avro Vulcan bomber at the opening of the Farnborough International Airshow. Farnborough was one of my dad's postings with the RAF (1974 airshow) which saw a visit by a Lockheed SR-71A of the 9th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing and also, sadly, the crash of the Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk prototype. Clearly left an impression on a nine-year-old boy.

The Isle of Wight, some wonderful memories of holidays in Shanklin.
