USS Enterprise- Top Gun....and the last ship my pops was on before he passed away♥

“It’s Christmas in Norfolk! And everyone’s home this year! At pier-side are USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN-69), USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH (CVN-77), USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65), USS BATAAN (LHD-5), USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72), USS WASP (LHD-1) and USS IWO JIMA (LHD-7). And that’s just the flattops! Not sure having seven carriers in one place at the same time is a good move, but it looks incredible.”

USS Enterprise- my son Chris was assigned to this ship and was part of the that rode back into Virginia on its final tour before the Navy decommissioned it. He was so excited and proud to be part of such a monumental moment! :)

The Ford-Class aircraft carrier. The USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN - 78) has been launched. The USS John F. Kennedy (CVN - 79) and USS Enterprise (CVN - 80) will be the next two carriers of this class.
