    Handmade Greeting Cards | Fox News Magazine. I love the idea of using up those old paint chip cards that I collected when I was redoing my house and deciding on colors. Perfect recycle idea! And beautiful too! The other thing I like about this is that you get very subtle color gradations with the paint chip cards - possibly more than you could find with card stock.

(Used this mostly as inspiration for Ellie's 1st birthday banner.) Didn't use paint-chips. (Seriously people, that's basically stealing.) Cut hearts with Cricut (about 2.5"). Cut "Happy Birthday" w/ Cricut (1.5"). Glued letters to hearts, punched holes in the tops and strung coordinating ribbon through to hang. Took two hours, off and on.
