Some folks have asked me about rag quilting: Here's one method, and she links to another. I've seen a third method that produces even prettier, softer results, so if this is a project you'd like to tackle, we can forge our own path. :)

My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.
