am I the only one who had a childhood obsession with koala's...and then learned that they bite and are not suitable as pets...only to be overcome with instant sadness and scratch them off your "next pet to get" list? No? Just me?
Koala - we have two that inhabit the eucalypt trees on our property (S.E.QLD). On extremely hot days they hide in the shade of jasmine that weaves it's way around a small gum tree.
Learn About Koalas - Cute Photos They are not placental or 'eutherian' mammals, but MARSUPIALS, which means that their young are born immature & they develop further in the safety of a pouch. (see photo to the left) It's incorrect to call them 'koala bears'. Their correct name is simply 'koalas.'
No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. ~ Amelia Earhart
