I used to do this for Bean. Boo hoo... last Christmas was the 1st year I didn't. Don't think you need to faff,  just cut out the shape and flip for the other foot. Santa has long strides and big feet..or you'll be there all night. I added fine silver glitter and flour to the fake snow, it made it glisten and look more magical. It was a better texture too. We had it from the bedroom door to Bean's stocking so it was the 1st thing he saw Christmas morning and some near the tree.
