Student Spotlight: Gravity Wine - "I wanted to go beyond a simple label for the bottle and create something that had a more tactile aspect to it so I decided to use paint in conjunction with a label as a way to achieve this. I had to experiment with many different bottles and paints to get this end result uses white ceiling paint and non-tapered, dark bottles." These wine bottles were designed by Patrick Hill, a student in the Communication Art & Design program at the University of Louisville.

The line work on the logo is well done and I can appreciate the desire for a vintage feel but have we really come to a place where we can use stereotypes of minorities as logos? Are we there yet? Are you sure? Really sure?

beautiful pinks, reds, and golds. plus the whole composition is lovely.

clean & simple. like the idea of doing something that may look like a label from the lab/ doing a label that isnt just a tube all around the bottle, something with shape to it.
