Pin of the Week: Over the past few weeks, we've featured infographics as the "Pin of the Week," but this week we have a new spin on it. Icon featured an idea to turn recepits into infographics, or "paper apps." You could give useful information such as popular trends, items suggestions beased on recent purchase history, etc. What do you think? Is it a small creative way to increase engagment with potential customers or is it just a waste of paper and time? Tell us your thoughts!

Rethink the receipt Receipt design is pretty darn lame. Talk about utilitarian and meeting parity. But what if the design of the receipt was rethought, redesigned and reinvigorated? That’s exactly what Berg Studio #Graphic Design

Icon’s “Rethink”: turning receipts into ‘paper apps’. Retail receipts could make the most of the information systems that modern point-of-sales machines are plugged into… Now that's what I call a receipt! source: here

Steidl is the magazine this was the back cover to. I really like how the text was written over the picture of the man, yet you can still see his picture. I found this online. #Inspirational

These are some pretty nifty icons. Nice and clean while still being able to get recognized by the user for what they mean. The only thing I would've changed as opposed to them being just oulines, maybe have some solid colors inside the images just to help fill it out a bit more and make it look a little less iOS7-ish.
