Modified Sugar Honey Scrub ∙ Using this scrub is great for sensitive/dry skins, since the olive oil is moisturizing and the honey helps lock in moisture, making your skin look younger and healthier. Honey also has antimicrobial properties to clean your face, while the sugar exfoliates. The thyme (which will be made into a tea) helps make the consistency of the scrub a bit more liquid, and also has antibacterial properties. This scrub might not be good for oily skin

Without a doubt, one of the best things I ever did for my skin was to start making my own scrubs. The stuff at the store is chock full of stuff that's bad for your skin - all sorts of chemicals and alcohol. Yuck. Do your skin a favor... Go out and buy a mason jar. Add coarse sea salt, olive oil, almond oil, and if you can find it - jojoba oil. Use daily. Love your skin again. I add the olive oil and jojoba oil first to the salt and then add as much almond oil as I need to make it smell…

Baking soda and coconut oil every few days. On the days in between, just coconut oil. I use tiny amounts - a pinch of soda, and a bit of coconut oil the size of a pencil eraser. Wash in gentle, circular motions and rinse very well. Your face may seem oily afterward, but within a few minutes the oil is absorbed and your skin is glowing. My face used to break out regularly. Now, almost never!
Love this stuff. So good for your skin (and hair!). One of my clients had a bad case of Shingles on her face. Told her to put this on the wounds every single day, am and pm. The deep wounds, that a Dr told her would never heal up without needing a laser treatment, all healed up, with very minimal scarring. I also love to slather it on before I travel on an airplane. Amazing ingredients: Olive Oil, Bees Wax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly & Propolis Extract. Avail @ Whole Foods- AG
