Ticket Memory Jar...great idea. I have ticket stubs all over the place, stuffed in drawers, coat pockets, my wallet. I just can't throw them away! This is genius..just find a jar and throw them in. Love IT!

Calm Jar.   Here's the theory:    Fill a jar with water, color, and glitter.   When you're frustrated, shake the jar and set it on the counter.   Concentrate on the glitter. Only on the glitter.   As the glitter settles, so will your emotions.     Like a colorful stress ball. Or a practical snow globe. :)

a 'calm down jar' - shake the jar and the child has to watch the jar until the glitter settles. great alternative to using 'time out' as calm down time. Great idea till the kid throws the jar cause they are mad. Plastic jar would be a must.
