Let’s consider the idea of open shelving for dishes. I happen to have all different shades of white dishes that cannot look messy if they tried. They look magazine ready not because I fuss around with them every day, but because they all are all white. I do not worry about perfection in how they are arranged, I like the look of naturally piled dishes. No special stacking techniques are needed. I just group them: dinner plates, salad or dessert plates, bowls, serving dishes and mugs.
Hooks inside cabinets to hang pans, why didn't I think of THAT??? I think I will remove a shelf this weekend to make this happen!
Trick Cabinets Faux double cabinet doors conceal pullout drawers for pots, pans, and lids. Because the unit pulls out, it is less likely bulky cookware will get lost in the recesses of a cabinet.
Drawers make better use of lower cabinets. If I'm trying to make dinner in a hurry, I don't want to spend 10 minutes on my hands and knees fishing around bottom shelf for the right pot. Drawers mean you can use every inch of your cabinet space effectively. The pegs in these drawers keep dishes from sliding around when opening and closing the drawers.
