FREE Halloween Nouns! This is a fun Halloween themed noun sorting activity. It includes a noun poster and description. Students sort nouns by people, places and things. It also includes a recording sheet to write all the nouns and their own sentences.
Paula's note-add "idea," people forget that important part! Examples: a goal, a plan, a hypothesis, etc. A way to remember it is that these are things you can't touch but can be the "subject" of a sentence. "My plan is to educate everyone about nouns." "My goal is to be a great teacher." You can't touch the "plan" or the "goal,” but they are still nouns.
Noun Anchor chart! students theen find nouns in a passage. Try to say a sentence to a partner with a noun in it- partner identifies the noun. Try a sentence with two nouns
