Education for Girls in Somalia. In Somalia, girls’ enrolment rate is one of the lowest in the world at 22.1%. CISP’s education programme has sought to increase access to primary school for both boys and girls and to ensure their successful completion of basic education. In the primary schools supported by CISP, the enrollment of girls has increased from 32% in 2008 to 46% in 2012 (@CISP - Ceel Dheer, Dec 2011)
