In one Victorian home design like this, the decorators had made the ground floor "tower room" a breakfast nook, the middle floor "tower room" was a music-listening haven with surround sound and a bed that filled the whole space, and the upper floor was a library with the "tower room" being the reading nook with bench seats under the windows and a viewing telescope nearby. Really nifty!
Shanghai Tower, I remember when the U.S. used to be the place that was filled with wonder and creative archeological advances. It is beautiful, I wish we were building things like that here.
