Would you be brave enough to trek a pathway called The Bridge of Immortals? Situated in Huangshan (aka Yellow Mountain), a mountain range in the southern Anhui province of eastern China, the bridge is located at a vertigo-inducing height between two giant, jagged granite peaks that dares adventures to cross its path. It is not the only risky walkway along the mountain range. #china #travel www.goachi.com

The Bridge of Immortals, Huangshan, China ~ Strangely-shaped granite peaks, amazing scenery, beautiful sunsets and striking heights. The Yellow Mountains in eastern Asia is really something every person should experience. The world’s highest bridge, The Bridge Of Immortals, is situated in the Yellow Mountains, also known as Huangshan. From the bridge you will have a breathtaking view, and see how the clouds are touching mountainsides beneath you.

There are dozens of great train pix here, but this covered train bridge by Jerry Meyer is fascinating. Have never seen an actual one. Really cool.

The Bridge of Immortals: Huanghsan, China. I can't believe it exists.

‘We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it,’ always seemed to me like an odd expression, as if somehow saying it meant we can solve a problem, we just don’t want to, or that you just wanted to avoid the whole thing altogether. It seems to to make more sense to say we’ll cross that river, or gorge, or desert when it comes up. But here you have a bridge that was built to get you to the other side of something. I mean what’s the sense of having it unless you’re going to use the damn thing!
