Every St. Patrick's Eve, the kiddos make a Leprechaun Trap. We use a piece of my jewelry as 'bait.' In the morning, the trap has been tripped and there inside the box is my jewelry and chocolate coins or gold nugget bubble gum. It's a fun tradition!
'Little Leprechaun' This doesn't link to a free pattern, but you could make this from any hat pattern. Alternate green and black, crochet the buckle separately and sew it in with matching yarn. I'm making the top part without the flaps or braids, because I worry about strangling hazards for little ones.
