Easy Stuffed Crust Pizza Bites -We liked these, but the recipe has some flaws. Dont cut the dough into 20 rectangles, it is not big enough to hold the toppings. Perhaps 12 would have been a better number. Maybe I just think one little piece of peppeoni is not enough toppings...lol!!
Pizza Puffs... I made these with GF Bisquick. Used the pizza crust recipe on the box, added a little more water to make it the consistency of pancake batter. Added 1tsp Italian seasonings, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 cup parmesan & 1/2 cup mozzarella, and pepperoni. Delicious!
Marinated Mozzarella~ 1 pound fresh mozzarella, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices, 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary, 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano, 1/4 teaspoon red-pepper flakes. Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste. Olives, crackers, bread, and sliced cured meats (such as salami Toscana), for serving.
I made a platter of these for a party last year, they were a hit! I used toothpicks instead of skewers for bite-sized yummies.
