    No-bake granola bars by laurenslatest Honey, butter, brown sugar, vanilla, oats and rice cereal. I used rolled oats (blending half to make tinier pieces). Made sure to heat 'caramel' mixture to 245 degrees. Kids and hubby LOVED them! Great school lunch or snack idea.

Makes 12 ■2 large overripe bananas ■1 cup oats ■1/2 cup crunchy cereal ■2 tbsp pure maple syrup(or any other sweetener you use) ■2 tbsp peanut butter or other nut or seed butter ■2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips ■2 tbsp dried cranberries or other fruit ■2 – 4 tsp cocoa powder

    no bake granola bars--find good cherries and add to dark chocolate! combine white chocolate & peanut butter!

    These chocolate-chip granola bites are not only colorful & cute, but they’re actually easier than homemade granola bars, and you don’t have to worry about cutting or dividing them once they’re done cooking; just pop them in the lunch box and you’re ready to go! I think these would be fun with various fruits as well — apples, raisins and coconut all sound delicious!
