Random Acts of Kindness bulletin board for the holidays. We printed out "acts of kindness" on strips of paper for the kids to take... and then hopefully do!
One of my FAVORITE activities. These Acts of Kindness Task Cards are a great way to promote kindness in the school. The 32 cards can be rotated weekly to give students kindness goals that will last the entire school year. Each card is numbered and has a kindness title, graphic, and description. Also, an Acts of Kindness Tracking Form is included.
Promoting kindness with a kindness jar. At the beginning of the day, have each child fill out a "I am kind when..." card. At the end of the day, read each one and ask if anyone saw someone doing that act of kindness. Award any child who has done an act of kindness in a way of your choosing
Teaching Children To Think Of Others: A Simple Random Act of Kindness. An idea would be to have a "giving fund" in which your kids help decide how to give away money - whether it is by buying a toy or donating to an organization.
