If my listening center table on donors choose doesn't get funded I think I'll go to IKEA and make this instead. But I think I'd choose a Lak coffe table instead of the side tables so more kids could fit

This is a great idea! I would almost do this just for me above a desk. Pens and pencils, scissors, glue, hole punch, all the things I don't want ON my desk.

Body outlines in the block center - great science & math connection (count the # of blocks needed)

This "I'm done..." board is a great way to remind students of their choices once they have completed the current activity. By having this posted as a bulletin board or poster within the room, students would have a visual reminder of the acceptable options they have while awaiting transition to the next activity. This procedure would help maintain order as well as keep faster students busy.
