    Quick check! This is a great activity for young children to help them learn number sense. :) Pick one box to discuss each day at first. I actually have CeCe do this mentally; mental math has such a better impact on number sense success.

Students practice putting teen numbers 12-19 in order while building a picture of a plant. Students cut apart strips and then place numbers in...warm-up activity sheet (but can copy idea to use for other pictures...Dr.Suess Day or to match stories we are reading with diff #s). This could totally work with music notes/rests as well.
