    Berries are delicious. They're also delicate. Raspberries in particular seem to mold before you even get them home. Prevent them from molding by washing them with vinegar! Prepare a mixture of 1 part vinegar and 10 parts water and dump the berries in. Drain, rinse and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold. Raspberries will last a week or more, and strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.
