Magnetic Silly Putty--This could so be on the Kids Camp board (and a lot of those recipes could be on this board) but, c'mon, magnetic?! Cuzzz.....SCIENCE!

Magic Sand is sand that doesn't get wet! Regular sand absorbs water. Magic sand repels it!

Glow in the dark Silly Putty - make it yourself

Silly Putty This recipe calls for TWO (that’s IT) ingredients. I love that! You will need: white, multi purpose glue (I used Elmer’s – 1 cup) liquid starch (I used Sta-Flo – 1/2 cup) optional: food coloring *You can make more/less putty than we did – just stick to a “2 parts glue, 1 part starch” combo to achieve optimal putty.

Make your own crystal geodes with eggs! This is a wildly cool Easter-ish craft and science project.

Translucent Silly Putty-- Clear Elmers Glue+Liquid Starch=awesomeness.

Here is the recipe: 1. Take a small mixing bowl and add 2 Tablespoons of Warm Water. Then add 2 Tablespoons of White Elmer’s School Glue (other glues might not work as well) and a drop or two of food coloring. Mix together thoroughly. 2. Sprinkle in 1 and 3/4 to 2 Tablespoons of Borax into your glue mixture while stirring constantly. Your mixture will thicken up quickly. When the borax is all added, gather the mixture into a ball and knead together for a few minutes till firm. That’s it!

Goop: this was fun! Girls used their play dough molds & stuff to play with it. We added food coloring & it did turn their hand blue, so not sure it would be good for the car.
